Overview
The Karraki inhabit the Kaava Lands of the Mwangi Expanse. Especially in the vast savannas, floodplains, and the legendary city of Mzali. They live under the shadow of Walkena, the so-called Child-God of Mzali. Unlike many swamp-dwelling lizardfolk, the Karraki are more integrated into a structured, theocratic society. They are shaped by civilization and divine authoritarian rule. They are lizardfolk that have adapted to empire and dogma, rather than living in the wild in waterways. They are a very disciplined hierarchical culture. Community and duty are more important to the Karraki than personal ambition.
They are serious with excellent self control and are heavy pragmatists. They are suspicious of foreigners, especially those who are threats to Mzali. They value strength and shows of devotion.
Physical Appearance
The Karraki are typically robust and broad-scaled. Their scale colors often reflect dry savanna tones: ochre, dusty green, umber. They are frequently marked with religious paint, scars, or insignia of service. They are tall that stand between 1.98m to 2.3m.
