Goblins

Language spoken: Goblin, Common
Naming Conventions: While they share the jagged, consonant-heavy phonetics of standard goblins, their names often incorporate sounds that mimic their environment such as the cracking of ice or the crunch of the snow. i.e. Ikyz, Kryst, Vrak, Zyrk, Tyv, Skrit, Isis, Vyra, Killy, Syth, Mizy, Nyx, Ice-Biter, Snow-Stalker, White-Ear, Blue-Toe, and Frost-Licked

Frost goblins (also known as Snow Goblins) are a cold-adapted subrace of goblinoids found in the northern reaches of Golarion. They are defined by their survivalist discipline and their relationship with the freezing tundra. Frost goblins are quieter and more patient than other goblins. They understand that sound travels far in the crisp air and can attract predators so “normal” goblin behavior is a death wish. They have a deep connection with winter wolves and arctic wolves. They don't just use them as mounts; they often live in a symbiotic relationship with them.

Their skin tones range from pale blue to a deep, frozen violet, providing natural camouflage against ice and shadows. Unlike other goblins, they often have patches of thick, white or light-grey fur on their limbs, neck, and back to help retain heat. Their feet are leathery and wider than average, acting like natural snowshoes to prevent them from sinking into deep drifts and their eyes are usually a piercing, pale blue or white.
