Changelings can be of any ancestry, including dwarves, gnomes, orcs, and goblins, but humans are most common.

They primarily resemble a member of their father's ancestry but are exceptionally slight, pale, and dark-haired, and are often distinguished by having mismatched, differently coloured eyes, with one bearing their father's eye color and the other being a supernatural shade, such as violet or bright green.
