= Introduction =

Nightmares, monstrosities, and corrupting treasure. The gold loving cult of Razmiri's faithful have invited adventurers to the Isle of Terror. Making port in Fort Landing these mercenaries have come upon a land touched by a most wicked evil. The Whispering way has been defeated, and their lich the Tar Baphon have been destroyed and the necromantic cult scattered, but their undead still shamble the lands and their magic still plagues our dreams.

From the shadow heart forest and its malevolent spirits to the lingerlost swamp and its mad lizardman tribes and madder old hermits, to beyond the rivers of the isles deep within the heart of the void lies Xin-Grafar and its wall of corpses and the Wizard King's pit a font of negative corruption that threatens to devour the gods.

Here adventurers search for the infamous treasure of the Golden City of Death and its ancient secrets. Its foul necromancies, demonology, and its rivers of molten gold. Here men are made into heroes or villains, to fulfill your contract with the Razmiri faithful, to stake out your own domain in a most inhospitable land, or become a villain and embark on the same path as the Whispering Tyrant and become the evil the sorry inhabitants of the Isle dread; to become their terror.
