The gold-loving cult of Razmiri has drawn adventurers to Fort Landing, where they find a land scarred by ancient evils. Millennia ago, the necromantic cult known as the Whispering Way, led by the lich Tar-Baphon, threatened the world itself. Aroden, the god of civilization, and his Crusaders defeated the cult, scattering its followers, but the undead still roam the lands, and remnants of their foul magic linger, twisting dreams and corrupting the living.
+From the shadow-haunted Heart Forest and its malevolent spirits, to the Lingerlost Swamp with its mad lizardmen and deranged hermits, to the buried depths of Xin-Grafar, the city of the dead, the Isle is filled with horrors both seen and unseen. Xin-Grafar lies beneath the surface, a necropolis of terrible traps and forbidden knowledge. It was designed as a deadly snare even for Aroden, yet the traps failed to function fully, leaving the city a dangerous ruin filled with untold secrets. The planar boundaries are thin here, and the Underdark presses close, offering threats both monstrous and supernatural.
